In 2003  the Crenshaw County Economic and Industrial Development Authority, Inc. finds itself in a new office located  on 3 South Forest Ave., Luverne and continues to operate as a full-time ED organization. The board of directors and staff pledge their effort to support local business and industry as well as provide a first-class recruitment effort.

It is imperative that every elected official, every organization, every business, and every citizen of Crenshaw County work together to provide economic stability to the county. With a full time office and staff, the CCIEDA has developed a work program for the current year that includes development of retail, expansion of existing industry, new business recruitment, tourism efforts and a retiree program for the county. "We need everyone's help and volunteering to carry out the program," explained Doni Ingram, executive director.
